Norwest Private Hospital is currently undergoing a 7200m2 expansion adding 5 operating theatres to the existing 13, 55 beds to the existing 216 single bed ward rooms and 7 beds to the existing 12 Intensive Care beds. The expansion has taken place in the form of a new wing consisting of 3 levels with the capacity to expand vertically by one additional floor in the future. The expansion has also required the existing recovery and hospital support areas to be expanded.

The tender was awarded in December 2015 with completion due in February 2017. Construction is proceeding at pace with topping out of the new wing on 14th March 2016.
