TAHPI wins Australian Exporter of the year 2018

HPI’s international branch network TAHPI is honoured to have been awarded Australian Exporter of the Year 2018 by the India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABCA) at the Brisbane City Hall on Friday, 12 October 2018. The prestigious awards ceremony celebrates India Australia business relations, and was attended by Senator The Hon Marise Payne, Minister for Foreign Affairs and His Excellency Dr. A.M. Gondane, High Commissioner of India to Australia.

The TAHPI Coimbatore office was opened in 2018 and will undertake the specialist healthcare facility briefing and concept design of 19 New Tata-Trust Cancer Hospitals in Assam India. These hospitals are being designed using ground-breaking modular construction techniques refined by TAHPI in other international locations and brought to India for maximum efficiency. This landmark Tata-Trust Indian healthcare project sets the ball rolling on a major healthcare initiative aiming to provide quality treatment to thousands of Indian cancer patients in the Assam region. According to recent studies Assam has the highest per capita burden of cancer in India.

TAHPI is also the author of the internationally recognised Indian Health Facility Guidelines, and offers industry leading services in health facility briefing, health service planning, and clinical interior design. TAHPI draws on a wealth of experience having previously created health facility guidelines for multiple government agencies. Finalist in Health and Biotechnology Premier’s NSW Export Awards 2018

HPIs international branch network TAHPI is a finalist in the Health and Biotechnology category for the NSW Premiers Export Awards 2018. The Premier’s NSW Export Awards is an annual program which aims to recognise excellence in the export of goods and services by NSW business. The Awards acknowledge the important contribution of businesses to the economy through job creation and increased prosperity for the community and for the state.

TAHPI was nominated for delivering innovative health planning, software, and design solutions to public and private providers of patient care, from inception through to commissioning, as well as optimisation of business processes and plans for operational services. These solutions range from the creation of efficient and sustainable facilities, to strategic plans for systems and corporations, to working models for the management of international health assets.

Collectively, HPI and TAHPI (HPI’s International Branch) are the authors of many industry-recognised Health Facility Standards and Design Guidelines, developed on behalf of various health authorities around the world and delivered in a comprehensive digital package as 3D Designs, Databases, and HFBS Software to appropriately utilise the guidelines. HPI/TAHPI published and annually update the International Health Facility Guidelines (iHFG), the Standard Design Components of the new Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AHFG), and the Health Facility Guidelines for the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD); now mandatory for all healthcare facilities within the Emirate.

TAHPI has been nominated for the development of the international web-based software platform known as the Health Facility Briefing System (HFBS). This powerful suite of over 20 applications is used for statistical service planning, big data analysis for health systems, health facility design, project document management, human resource scheduling, budgeting recurrent cost modelling and architectural design support tools.

TAHPI provide multiple international Government Health Authorities Health Planning Software Suites based on the HFBS software Service Planning Suite to undertake health system capacity planning and inform policies in private investment and service coverage and provision. These tools are now also in the process of being installed and customised for multiple additional Government Health Authorities across the world within the coming year.

HPI announce Western Sydney University patronage

HPI and TAHPI are pleased to announce patronage to the Center for Smart Modern Construction at Western Sydney University.

This new initiative presented by the university will enable construction related organisations to make crowd funding type of investment for research and academic training, this will allow for more professionals to be educated in modern and smart construction technologies and enables the evolution and sustainability of the industry.

Australian Ambassador opens HPI Stand at Arab Health 2018

HPI’s international arm TAHPI was front and centre in it’s presence at Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2018, this event is the largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals in the Middle East and Africa. This year marks the ninth consecutive year TAHPI has participated in the event. H.E. Mr Arthur Spyrou, the Australian Ambassador to the UAE was a guest of honour and lead the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the TAHPI stand.

First Contracts signed for King Abdullah Medical City Construction

HPI’s international arm TAHPI is proud to announce that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City, one of the most prominent Healthcare projects in the region, in which TAHPI has carried out the master plan and design will begin the first stage of construction. The Arabian Gulf University has signed the first of the construction contracts on 4 January 2018. The signing ceremony was a grand event that was attended by the Bahrain Minister of Education and the Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The 300 bed Medical City, will have 15 operating rooms, full range of outpatient clinics and advance laboratories and pharmacy, as well as a medical training college for medicine students from GCC countries..

TAHPI has lead and participated in over 60 workshops which was attended by more than 100 experts to design the medical city to the standards of the National Health Regulatory Authority.

HVAC Systems for Health Facilities Presentation at Big 5 Dubai

HPI’s international branch TAHPI presented innovative ideas on Engineering a Safer, Sustainable and High Performance HVAC System for Healthcare on Day 2 of the Big 5 International Building and Construction Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre November 2017.

The talk on design and delivery of advanced Healthcare HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems was conducted by Harris Farooq Qureshi the Principal Mechanical Engineer for TAHPI during the Big5 MEP – Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Talks.
